Love Is In the Air

Bret and I were able to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary last night with a nice dinner and NO KIDS!!! We got to have adult conversations and ate at a restaurant w/no chicken nuggets on the menu.. :) We put on nice clothes (which never seems to happen) and had a few adult drinks. The conversation didn't include any talk of work, school or our children. We have been together for 15 yrs and 12 of those we have been raising children, so it was nice to feel like a grown up for just us. But today we are back to the grindstone with meetings, speech therapy, school visits and work. I guess it can only last for so long. We just need to make an extra effort to do this more often.
